Conference
Headquarters/Accommodations. The
Conference will be held at the Wyndham Greenspoint Hotel (12400
Greenspoint Drive, Houston, Texas 77060, USA) in Houston. Time
will be allowed within the program's schedule to take advantage
of the scenic locale, and optional pre- and post-conference activities
will be available for conference delegates and their companions.
Rooms
at the hotel sell out months ahead. Therefore, the Conference
secretariat has reserved the largest possible block of sleeping
rooms at the Wyndham Greenspoint Hotel. It is impossible to guarantee
that rooms will be available for late registrants. It is extremely
important that you make your hotel reservation as soon as you
know that you likely to attend the Conference. Conference registrants
can reserve rooms at the Wyndham Greenspoint Hotel at the reduced
group rate of $89/night (single or double beds) plus tax.

Comparable
discounts in rates for suits are available. These rates are good
through July 18, 2006, unless the block sells out before that
date. If an attendee prefers to share a double-beds room with
another attendee, please contact the Conference Secretary at env-conference@AASci.org.
The hotel will begin taking reservations on February 1, 2006.

Global Reservations Center at 1-281-875-2222. To qualify for the
group rate, mention that you are attending the "International
Environmental Conference." The promotional code for the reservations
is ICEST2. Attendees can access the website at http://www.Wyndhamhouston.com
and follow the instructions to make an online reservation. A direct

US Government attendees will have to call the hotel to receive
the government per diem rates. If you have any questions on the

Travel.
It
is 7.5 miles (12 KM) from the George Bush Intercontinental Airport
Houston (IAH) to the Wyndham Greenspoint Hotel.
Internet
Access. Internet
access will be provided for conference attendees at the exhibit
area. It will help the attendees to keep contacts with their families
and affiliation during the conference, and check travel/weather
information before departure.
